After months of continuous speculation swirling about Internet message boards, I can now safely confirm that network producers have successfully negotiated for an upcoming winter sweeps mini-series of the beloved, The New Guys.
Although I can't divulge too much information surrounding the structure of the mini-series, I am at liberty to reveal that the first installment will reunite several series regulars five months subsequent to the series finale. Fans faithful to the show can still expect The New Guys to find themselves amid plot lines concurrent to actual news items covered by the national media.

we are getting the same TV-14 rating. some episodes, like the sock puppet episode for instance, got a TV-MA rating for overt explicit sexual dialogue, nudity, and strong sexual content.
